Overview
Regularly updating your password helps keep your financial data secure. ProcessX makes it easy to change your password and manage your account security.
When to Change Your Password
Consider changing your password if:
- It's been more than 6 months
- You've used the same password elsewhere
- You suspect unauthorized access
- You've shared it with someone
- A data breach is reported
How to Change Your Password
Step 1: Navigate to Settings
Step 2: Enter Current Password
For security, you must verify your current password.
Step 3: Enter New Password
Create a strong new password:
- At least 8 characters
- Mix of uppercase and lowercase
- Include numbers
- Include special characters
Step 4: Confirm New Password
Re-enter your new password to confirm.
Step 5: Save Changes
Click Update Password or Save.
You'll receive a confirmation email.

ProcessX requires passwords that meet these criteria:

Forgot Your Password?
If you've forgotten your password:
Password Reset Not Arriving?
If you don't receive the reset email:
- Check your spam/junk folder
- Verify you entered the correct email
- Wait a few minutes and try again
- Contact support if issues persist

Enable alerts for new logins:

- Quickly detect unauthorized access
Best Practices
If You Suspect Unauthorized Access
Take immediate action:
Team Member Passwords
If you're an account admin:
- You cannot see team passwords
- You can reset team member access
- You can remove team members
- Each member manages their own password
