How to upgrade or change your ProcessX subscription plan.

Overview

As your business grows, you may need more features. Upgrading your ProcessX subscription is quick and your new features are available immediately.

When to Upgrade

Consider upgrading if you:

  • Hit usage limits (receipts, AI analyses)
  • Need team collaboration
  • Require advanced reports
  • Want vehicle logbook features
  • Need multiple companies
  • Require API access

How to Upgrade

Step 1: Go to Subscription Settings

  • Click Settings in the navigation
  • Select Subscription
  • Or click Upgrade when prompted
  • Step 2: Choose a Plan

    Review available plans:

    • Compare features
    • Check pricing
    • Consider annual discount

    Step 3: Select Billing Cycle

    Choose:

    • Monthly: Pay month-to-month, cancel anytime
    • Annual: Pay upfront, save 17% (2 months free)

    Step 4: Enter Payment Details

    Provide payment information:

    • Credit/Debit card
    • Or other available methods

    Step 5: Confirm and Upgrade

  • Review your selection
  • Accept terms
  • Click Upgrade Now
  • Your new plan activates immediately.

    What Happens When You Upgrade

    Immediate Access

    All new features are available right away:

    • No waiting period
    • No restart required
    • Just refresh your browser

    Billing

    • Pro-rated: You only pay the difference for the current period
    • Future billing: Next invoice reflects new plan price
    • Receipt: Confirmation email sent

    Data

    • All existing data is preserved
    • No migration needed
    • History fully accessible

    Starter to Professional

    Gain access to:

    Downgrading

    If you need fewer features:

  • Go to Settings > Subscription
  • Click Change Plan
  • Select a lower tier
  • Confirm downgrade
  • Downgrade Considerations

    • Takes effect at next billing cycle
    • Features above new plan limit become restricted
    • Data is preserved but may be read-only
    • Team members may lose access

    Cancelling Your Subscription

    To cancel:

  • Go to Settings > Subscription
  • Click Cancel Subscription
  • Select cancellation reason
  • Confirm cancellation
  • After Cancellation

    • Access continues until period ends
    • Data preserved for 30 days
    • Can reactivate anytime
    • Exports available

    Payment Methods

    ProcessX accepts:

    • Visa
    • Mastercard
    • American Express
    • Debit cards

    All payments processed securely.

    Billing Issues

    Failed Payment

    If payment fails:

    • You'll receive email notification
    • 3-day grace period provided
    • Update payment method to continue
    • Account may be restricted after grace period

    Updating Payment Method

  • Go to Settings > Subscription
  • Click Payment Methods
  • Add new card
  • Remove old card if needed
  • Invoices and Receipts

    Access billing history:

  • Go to Settings > Subscription
  • Click Billing History
  • Download invoices as PDF
  • Special Offers

    Save 17% with annual billing (2 months free).

    Referral Program

    Refer others and earn credits:
